I have been thinking about this great RV adventure and full time RV living for over a year now, but still I haven’t pulled the trigger on an RV or even on a Mini-RV. What’s the hold up? Well, life just gets in the way. Things happen, but I still plan to make this adventure a reality. It’s just much harder to step away when you still need to make money to pay the bills. I’m only in my mid-40’s so work must continue.
I have spent the first few months of 2014 planning and building my online business so I have a way to make money while traveling. I initially looked into some Internet Marketing ideas but that stuff is just so spammy and is not for me. I currently make all my money online but I still want to build up a decent safety net and I would like to see my monthly earnings increase before hitting the road. I also like the idea of taking some temp jobs during my travels when I plan to be in one place for a few weeks or a month. Nothing like doing some grunt work for some quick cash.
At this time, it looks like June or July will be a good time to purchase my adventure vehicle or RV for short. From there, I will make modifications to suit my style, then I can see going off on a local adventure to test things out. Then back to the lab to fix any issues and to add on things I may have forgot to install on the first run.
At this time, there is no set plan for my travels, but when I get my RV, I’m sure the trip planning stage will begin.
Thanks for stopping by the blog. Check back later to see if it’s the “Summer of Adventure” for Traveling Troy.
